hi,ive had a wall knocked down and an rsj fitted.i'm wanting to extend the wall undetr the rsby 1 brick width and have fitted a steel channel from rsj to floor.I was going to tie it in with the existing wall by removing half a brick but the building inspector said to use a wall tie kit.Will it be ok to put a full brick one on top of each other slotted between channel and wall tie rather than two half bricks then single etc?
