Sink incinerator and wall switches

How many "switches"? The plural suggests at least two but let's be sure. Even so, two fuses blowing is at least plausible, ten would seem unlikely and suggest one needs to look for a cause elsewhere.
i have just moved into an apartment and none of the wall switches seem to work. I have changed all the fuses ...
[not quite as silly as some of the above, since it's true!]
The OP had just 'moved in'. When I moved into my present house, many moons ago, we discovered that nearly all of the (many) light bulbs/lamps (probably all of which were 'bulb-shaped' in those days) had been replaced by dead ones - the previous owners must have been collecting dead ones for months, if not years!

Maybe some people do the same with blown fuses before they hand over the keys to the next occupant?

Kind Regards, John
