Just moved into a place that has a sink in the bedroom. Is this easy to remove? Can we just seal off any pipes left once the sink is out? Thanks for any help

Ideally you need to trace the hot and cold supplies back to live pipework and cap off there (to avoid leaving long deadlegs)

Thank you very much. Is there an easy way to trace this without ripping up the floor?

Try to think like the installer?

They probably took a T off a close run but it will involve lifting some flooring.

If you're really lucky, you may be able to find a couple of isolator valves just after where the feeds to this basin were Teed off from the rest of the hot and cold pipes!

Is there a bathroom on the other side of the wall from the offending basin?
