If the Sky Eyes are working some of the time then my guess is that the amp passes the Sky Eye voltage. You can check this with a multimeter or simply by looking if the red LED lights up on the Eye connection block.

Problems with Sky Eyes are most often caused by wiring issues. Just one stray filament from the braid shielding shorting on to the centre conductor will crash them. Check your plug connection very closely. Its easy to miss a fine filament because they are so thin. If the filament is just touching then you cab get these sort of intermittent issues.

Hi have had a visual check looks OK. In one of the rooms I have a digi recorder box wondered if this was the problem when it went into shut down mode. Have for now disconected sky only to that room, will see how it goes. Many thanks.
