Converted attic space. Leak in the corner of the room approx where the X is on the photos. Annoying sporadic leak.
Bloke came round and said it was probably the wind blowing rain up under the tiles. Obvious problem would be where the corner of the slate is missing in the third photo but would this be to far away from the X for it to be the source of the leak?
There's no marking on the inside of the sloped roof, just in the corner where it meets the wall. I guess it could be running down from anywhere above this spot?
Would your first port of call be to realign any wonky tiles and replace any broken ones above the X?
Are these leaks common on gable ends?
