Smeg DI 620C Dishwasher

My dishwasher packed in a couple of nights ago. Following the advice I read in a posting on this forum, I pulled it out, tipped it backwards and a load of water came out. And, hey presto, it worked.

Put the dishwasher back in place did another rinse. Fine. Came home from work tonight and guess what - not working.

Clearly, something is causing it to flood, but the filters are in good order and the waste pipe is connected to the kitchen sink disposal as is the washing machine and both are fine.

Any ideas?

Most obvious cause would be a leak. You'll need to take the panel off to check that.
It may be overfoaming, using 3,4 or 5 in 1 tablets as well as rinse aid would cause this.
