My Smeg Dishwasher will not fill can anyone help cannot afford a new machine indicator lights E6

Please help desperate

E6 indicates a drain issue (if it doesn't drain properly it won't take in water). Check; filters - drain hose for blockages/kinks - blocked sink spigot - jammed or defective drain pump.
