We bought a new Hotpoint NSWR963C WK washing machine in May this year. We have found that while everything works fine on most settings, whenever we use the fast 1600rpm spin, there's a stench and smoke coming out of the machine when at the end of it's cycle. This doesn't happen when using slower spin speeds. The drum and sealing rubber don't get hot. Will this eventually stop, or should we use the guarantee I'm paying monthly for to get it repaired or replaced?
