I have mice in my attic, I can hear them morning and night, traps and poison isn't working. Iv noticed that I have cables/cover on the wall outside, leading to a airbrick. I'm guessing they are either crawling up the wires inside, or up the cover on the outside...is that possible ?

Can they climb up normal brick walls ?

The wires are for the electrics in the garage.
How can I stop the mice getting in please

They can climb bricks as far as im away and can absolutely climb a cable or similar on a brick wall.

Using wire wool to block up interior holes and mortar to block up exterior is the best bet.

To be honest though now the weather is getting cold your main aim is to kill the ones already inside. They can have a litter of 10 within 3 weeks.... That last bit perhaps isnt very helpful
