Sound Proof Internal Soil Pipe (tight space)

I got an internal soil pipe and would like to suppress as much sound as poss.

The boxing-in is quite tight to the pipe.

Could I use loft insulation to achieve this given the tight space or is there a better option?

Yes plus As many layers of plasterboard as you can find space for, ideally not touching reach other, and make sure the boxing isn't touching the pipe.
