I need advice about foaming the underside of my roof. Most of my old roof is ok apart from rusting nails, giving the odd slipped tile!
A roofer would never suggest using spray foam insulation as a re-roofing job is better for him, although its cost the householder 1000's.
SO, I was thinking of spraying my roof to stick to the small tiles and prevent further movement. I am aware of the chemical componds in the foam as I have used this stuff elsewhere.
What to other people think??

Tried search feature but it had a fault with it?
What is "not" meant to mean?

You asked the question:

"Spray Foam Insulation or not?"

And my reply was:

"Not"

So it was not a reply to "What to other people think?" then :p

This £ per search offer, does this include guaranteed results or is it just for searching?

do not use spray foam it stops circulation causing dampness in the attic

it stops the roof timbers drying out but lets the water in

as said abouve stops routine maintanance
and when you do decide to do a propper job your roofer will charge more because of the extra work

you sell on and include the guarantee from the sprayers  HIP`s schmips
