I'm in the middle of redecorating the entire house and would like some ideas of what can be done with the stairs.
Currently its an old fashioned white panelled wood all the way up. Underneath the stairs are white pannels and a cupboard. Basically I will replace the part above the stairway with the spindles/rail etc but I don't know what I can do with the ugly white side panels and the cupboard.
Any ideas what I can do or where I can look to get some inspiration ?
