Hi there, I was just browsing the Sticky regarding wiring diagrams for lighting circuits and am confused by the second diagram in post 6 regarding two-way switching. On this diagram:

Why, in the upper and lower circuit diagrams, are the red wires labelled as "SW.L" and the blue wires on the switch side of the lamps labelled as "L" ? Should they be labelled the other way?

Yep, they have labelled them incorrectly. Well spotted!
In addition, there is also another potential confusion for readers of the first and third diagrams. The connection from L2 of the left-hand switch simply joins the connection which should be labelled as SL 'in mid stream', which would probably cause some people to wonder how that connection is to be made. They might think they need to wire exactly as shown, and have a JB at that intersection point (i.e. what is shown is partially a circuit diagram, not a wiring diagram).

Kind Regards, John.
