Yes it will likely be 2way and have 3 terminals, you will only use 2 of them, get a plastic one, as a metal switch may cause you problems trying to earth it, as your install looks quite dated.
Keep the old screws for now as you may find you need them as the new screws will be metric

I connected the red wire to COM and black wire to L1. Everything worked first time round
