Suggestions for Radiators

I want to change a single panel radiator which does not give much heat (I thinks its passed its sell by date!) pipes are fixed in the floor..any suggestions, I want something that will give me a high out put of heat in the room....the room has always been cold even when the haeting is on.

Rads don't wear out. They get blocked or pinholed. It's obviously not the second so have you checked for blockage?

If all the other rads are OK and there is no blockage your system may just need balancing.

Unless your boiler is oversized, a larger rad may not be the solution as the boiler will not produce enough heat for the extra load. So all the other rads will end up colder.
