This isn't exactly plumbing but it's related to drinking water ........
I need to seal a crack in a plastic drinking water jug (one of those with a filter to make the tap water taste a bit nicer) - (I also plan to use it to seal a crack in a plastic dog's water bowl which I've been meaning to do for ages).
My original plan was to use standard silicone sealant but I see that some of those can be toxic, even when cured. What is my best option? No doubt plumbing related plastic containers need to have cracks, etc safely sealed at times. I guess one of the following sealants may be suitable?

or is there anything more suitable?
Thanks.
