I am buying a flat which is going to need to be totally refurbished and we've come to the conclusion that the flat would work much better if the kitchen and bathroom were swapped over. There will clearly be some plumbing work for the soil pipe, but can anyone see anything that would require building regs, or any gotchas on doing the swap? We were going to install a new kitchen and new bathroom anyway.
Also, is it likely that I'd need to notify the landlord if the flat is a leasehold property?
Any fire regulations to be aware of ? Kitchen has NO gas supply.
