hi guys, can anybody tell me if i switch off, unplug from the mains and then replug into the mains and switch on again my vidio recorder, tv,satellite, didgi box will i lose the settings. i do not want to call in an engineer to reset them all. thanks for any help. geoff

some will last a little while off the mains
some retain there settings
no way off telling without trying or perhaps phone the manufacturer with model and number year of manufacture serial number and ask
