Hi,
I just want to double check everything I'm planning on doing is correct before I go ahead. I want to install a smart switch that requires a neutral at the switch (my circuit is looped in at the rose rather than the switch).
My plan is to replace the 2-Core and earth with equivalent 3-core and earth where I need a smart switch. As the 3-core is brown/black and grey, I'd use the brown live, black (sleeved brown) for switch, and sleeve the grey blue for the neutral (until I install the smart switch as I'm in the middle of renovations currently, i'd connect this to earth and sleeve appropriately).
I mainly want to check that this setup would be correct and I'm not leaving any weird surprises for anyone who ever works on the switches in future (I also don't want to have replace the cable in the future as I did something incorrect)
