i have a talbot express 25 td and i have tried to weeken the fuel at the back of the pump bosch and when i do so it smokes blue is this normal as it doesent usually smoke

hi thanks for your reply ,it lookes light blue if i turn it back to ware it shouild be it dont smoke

The reason I asked was because blue smoke is an indicator of engine oil being burnt. Why do you want to weaken the fuel?

You should not mess about with injector settings, any deviation from the optimum setting can have dire consequences, I would suggest the reason for the blue smoke is because of excessive high temperature in the engine, you stand a good chance of burning the exhaust valves.
Put it back to where it should be, lots of research and calculations went into the setting up, these adjustments should not be tampered with.
