Im having trouble with my bathroom tap running really slow,I've tried to look at it but am having trouble getting the top cover off the tap,I know it's screws in but it's stuck firm and before I ruin the chrome trying to undo it with a wrench thought I would seek some advice on here first as I've had some great responses in the past, thanks for looking.

Always worth trying a little vinegar around any screws to disolve scale.
