hi. Just moved into a new home and it's a project to say the least. I'm trying to do as much myself as I can but getting tradesmen in for the tough stuff. I thought the house was rendered but someone in the rendering forum has suggested it could be tartaruga, please take a look at the photos below to see what you think.
On the whole it's in very good condition, except for one 1m x 1m area which has bubbled. I've cracked some holes in it (what you can see on the photo) to see if it was damp, it wasn't. The brickwork underneath isn't great and there is a lot of sand inside. There is also a picture of a piece I've snapped off, it's quite bendy.
Can anyone offer any tips on tidying it up? My intention is to get the property smooth rendered when i can afford it but need a touch up job in the meantime.
Tips on whether it's something you can diy would be appreciated.
Thanks
