Hi,
I am having an old kitchen extension knocked down and rebuilt, full building regs and inspected etc. Currently the water supply is going into the old extension so it will have to be temporary re-routed into the main house while the work is being done (easiest option looks like via an air brick with a temp external stopcock). Obviously when the work is complete the pipework will be fully compliant.

Will I run into any issues with the building inspectors if this temp arrangement is not as per regulations?

Water supply has nothing to do with B Regs. There's probably some guidance/regs, probably best to speak to the water co.
