Texecom Remote Monitor - Email

I have a Tex elite 88 with COM-IP fitted.

I would like to be able to trigger emails, etc when the alarm goes off.

Do I need software to do this?

Does the alarm push data out to ARC?

I have several managed servers I could install software on of needed.

two choices.

1. use the app for your phone or tablet which is free, and setup the notifications and assign upto 4 different email addresses
(setup details in latest com-ip manual).
2. setup montex/texbase which requires a pc permanently on to run.
