The Painting of a Front Door

First post for a complete Noob

I am thinking about repainting the front door of my house. At the moment it is a glossy green but am thinking about a new style I will post a pic of the kind of colour it is I want.

The questions I am asking are,

1, What colour/kind of paint would I need to get the colour ?
2, What prep would I need to do to the door ? Just Sand it ?

Stew your best bet here is get get yourself a colour card and then pick a colour that resembles the door and have the paint mixed.
