thermocompact vaillant is always over pressured

Hi

can anyone help? Our thermocompact vaillant boiler is showing pressure on the guage of between 2 and 3 bars. This has been happening for about three weeks. The reading on the guage goes down to less than 1 if we don't run the boiler for a day or two. Unfortunately it does not seem able to stay between 1 and 1.5 as per the user manual.

How do we get it to stabilise?

Hi sounds like your expansion vessel needs pumping up search on here for expansion vessel you should find all the info you need hope this helps Paul.

Look at the FAQ on this site and try to repressurise.

But you must do it exactly as stated ( apart from the 10 litre bit ).
