I have had a new shower fitted by a local firm and the temperature control is all over the place.
It goes from lukewarm to scalding and then there is no change until the temperature control knob is turned almost 90 deg at which point it goes freezing.
Also if you do manage to get an acceptable temp on the spray head and then divert to the rain head it goes scalding.
They have checked that the hot and cold supplies are the right way round.
They reckon the problem is down to a pressure differential between hot and cold and are on about fitting a pressure reducer on the cold supply.
I am not sure about this being the right solution as the boiler supplying it is a worcester bosch 30cdi which was only installed 2 months ago.
Any one got any advice?
