Hello,

I have just installed a new shower, and fitted a thermostatic shower valve. Following the installation instructions, I fitted the cold supply to the left hand side and the hot supply to the right hand side.

The valve works fine, apart from one problem - the instructions say rotate anti-clockwise to increase the water temperature, and clockwise to lower the temperature. The markings on the tap support this.

OK - the problem is that it's working the other way round, i.e clockwise increases, and anti-clockwise decreases.

Have I got the feeds the wrong way round, or is the valve faulty??

Thanks

Nick.

You've got the feeds the wrong way round. Cold is always on the right (unless you turn the valve upside down).

Your right - I just double checked and i've got them round the wrong way
