Hi;

I am building a small workshop in my garden, project here. The back wall is already in place and is full height against which I have built three block walls four courses high. On these walls I am building a timber frame using 75mm x 45mm timber. The frame will be clad with T&G or fortex TBC.

I have just bought some 100mm Multi Fix screws to fix the wooden frame to the concrete blocks - this will give me 50mm into the block - will this be sufficient (it only needs to hold the wood frame in place with little or no horizontal or vertical movement?

Thanks

Are they the ones that go into a 6mm hole with no plug?

I reckon they will be right enough.

Yep that's the one - I bought them along with a special SDS drill bit just for the job. It drills through the timber into the block and then in goes the Screw using a Torx driver bit.
