Hi there, I qualified as a bricklayer but haven't done it for years, a friend has just asked me if I could give him a time estimate for building a block wall, so my question is roughly how long should it take to build, per m2, a concrete block wall with pillars. foundations are in. the wall is 27m long, 2.2m high and doesn't have to look pretty,it will be rendered, i'll take into consideration that I'll be a bit slow. thanks for any help.

3-4 days if you and a labourer, twice as long if on your own. And a bit longer still if you have not done this for a long time

But there are lots of variables, and if you are a day or two out, that's a lot of money
