Hi, had a new boiler fitted over a year ago and no real problems. In last week, despite setting for hot water only 07:00-09:00, been going off at 08:00. Boiler shuts down completely, with even the power light going off, despite the indicator on the timeswitch (non-integral), being illuminated as normal, until 09:00. The other morning came on at 05:00 for some reason.
Called the Baxi man out, and he said the high temp stat is causing it to cut out and need to bleed the radiators as there is an airlock somewhere. I explained that the radiators are off at the timeswitch but opened them up and bled them any way, didn't get much air out, and hasn't cured the problem. Motorised valve operates but not sure if it has on off point, or is either CH or HW.
Opened the radiators to bleed them last night and left them open as at the timeswitch CH was selected to off. This morning house like a sauna and still went off at 08:00. Any ideas please
