My cistern is leaking on the outlet valve - allowing water to trickle through into the pan. I want to replace it this weekend, so want to order a new part now, but I'm not sure what outlet size I have.

The toilet is a small B+Q job purchased four years ago. Is there an odd's on favourite that it'll be either 2" or 1.5" for that age? The two kits I'm looking at are the fluidmaster conversion kit that suits 1 to 1.5" outlet, versus the fluidmaster 2" kit.

I know I could take it apart and look, but that means no loo for the next 4 days!

Cheers

Gary

you could buy one of each, then take the one back you don't use,
