Being employed as a joiner for most of my life , but treated more as a do it all handyman type of thing ( funny how employers think joiners can paint, labour , point , lay bricks , and do pretty much everything else ) I'd say a basic set of carpentry tools with the addition of a few brushes , trowels and spanners should suffice .
