Transformer advice please

Hello all. I'm trying to get some advice on a replacement transformer for device using a halogen lamp. The device is a clock projector and the original transformer (anchorn aa-1502rb) appears to have died.

I've attached a picture of the unit and would be grateful if someone could advise what kind of replacement I should look for. The 11.5V seems clear enough but not the amperage.

Your photo shows it as up to 50W, which is what you need to know (that's up to almost 5A)
