I have an Opal 3 power shower, which has been working for the past two years.

It now has a constant flow of very hot to very cold, the cold water is preceded by a click from the machine which is happens continuously. Would this mean that the thermostat is broken?

Any help would be much appreciated, it's not much fun having hot and cold showers before bed.

If your shower is cyling hot/cold it's cycling on the tco due to a restriction in either the showerhead needs descaling or the shower hose is kinked.

Clean the inlet filter.
Descale the shower head.
Check the inner shower hose has not collasped.

Hello,

Many thanks for your advice.

I bought some 'One Shot" acid, soaked it through the hose and shower head, cleaned out the inlet filter. And boom its working again.

Many thanks.

Power shower is much important in human life. When you take shower, the skin pores over your body often widens, which allow things like dermal absorption of chlorine along with other unhealthy chemicals to a great extent. This therefore is lethal for your health, bringing in issues to your body. Luckily with solutions like shower filter you can aver this issue to a great extent...Thanks..
