Turn off CH when going on holiday?

I've a new boiler but when away for three weeks on holiday, is it best to turn off the boiler ....or.....turn the three thermostats off?

At this time of year it's best to turn the thermostats down to say 10°C to prevent your house freezing, just in case we get a cold snap

Some modern boiler systems include frost protection, in which case the room stat can be set to minimum.

Best to leave the boiler on and the thermostats set to frost protection, most modern boilers have internal frost protection to protect the boiler and daily pump kick to prevent the pump seizing, if you turn the boiler off these are disabled
