Unmarked copper

I thought all imports had to conform to the EC "kitemark"

a supplier would have to be a right "bengal lancer" to risk his reputation on dodgy copper tube. with all them lawyers out there. ...........after his a£se, if his copper tube didnt meet softus' and g4u's standards,

its a pity you're not, a metallurgist, and can send me to sleep with your theory.

I presume you get your copper tube from Marks and Spencers.

I don't know what all that is supposed to mean. It is just abuse?

What's the net effect?

If the installation is sound and well installed, is it anything to worry about?
I don't think anybody is 'worried', some people just have a preference for better quality components. Other people go to Wickes.

Copper tempered in the wrong way is more prone to splitting. Thin copper is more prone to wearing through. Anyone can ship a product and claim that it complies with standards.
