Did you try turning the RCD fully off and then fully back on? Also, who fitted this 'new' socket? And the new 'RCD box'?

Just going to try that now.

Fitted by qualified electrician, all works notified. Already texted eletrician but he's on holiday and hasn't replied. :D

not surprised.. your main switch is off, your rcd's are off and most of your breakers are off..

unplug the thing in the outside socket and try again..
either the socket is faulty, or the thing plugged into it is..

we turned everything back on

What made you think you needed to? As it is in the photo, everything is off because the mainswitch is off!

Clue: The rule is, if its pointing DOWN and GREEN its OFF. This is why you have no power.

Generally when something trips, only the one switch will be off.

PS. lovin the cheap and tacky technicolour rockers which actually mean nothing when theres a mix of old and new breakers.

we have no red blinking light to the power meter, so there's a clue there too :(

That just means no power is being used. Since the main switch is off, that is exactly what would be expected.

You need to switch everything ON / UP.

Just done that, thank you! i blame the man of the household. :D :D

He said everything means green = on.
