Using a solid state relay to switch a heating element

Just an idea not sure if any good as quite ugly and usually sited out the way, we use these to operate the gas valves , they sense the fans running via 2 hollow probes

We don't use these for fan proving on gas interlocks any longer, they grunge up too quick in the greasy extract. We use current monitoring of the fans. http://duomo.co.uk/product/fp45-current-monitor/
