Vaillant 242/282 combi boiler

Hi Guys

I have the above boiler which is @ 12 years old roughly. It needs a new diverter valve I,ve been told which has already been changed when boiler was couple of year old. Is it worth replacing the valve or get a new boiler? and if so which boiler would you suggest. I live in a 3 bed semi with 8 rads.

Only boilers that are know to be problem cases are not worth repairing.
