Vaillant Boiler Problem - Please Help!

Valliant Boiler Problems?

The problem starting a week ago.

We noticed that our Vaillant combi boiler remains fired up at all times despite the fact the we dont have the heating on or a hot water tap open.

This also results in extremenly hot water coming out of taps in the morning presumably because it is being heated constantly all night. we have resorted to switching the boiler off. As soon as it is switched on it starts firing constantly again.

A neighbour commented that they are getting similar problems with hot water coming through the cold water tap - maybe this is related although there isnt a communal hot water supply. Note - We live in a block of flats.

Model? Type of heating system? Combi? HW Cylinder?......we need way more info to help you

I dont have the exact model code on me but have been on Vaillant website and it looks like the ecoTEC pro combination boiler range http://www.vaillant.co.uk/installers/High_efficiency_boilers/Combination/ecotec-pro/ although an earlier model.

the pin on the gas valve could be or about to be jammed thus leaving the gas valve open all the time.
