Hi,
I'm replacing the diaphragm on my boiler as the hot water starts warm then cools down
Seems from reading on here in need to replace the diaphragm, I got the vaillant part but in the instructions it says the "flat" side needs to be facing up. Thing is I'm unsure what that means as neither is completely flat.
so is this the right way round (so that it resembles a cub with middle bit recessed down)
The Vaillant instructions for this part are useless.
if you were to hold the bottom of the diverter would you place the diaphram exactly as it appears in this pic

straight into the botttom as it or would you flip it over?
if you installed it the wrong way round, what would happen?, i.e. what symtom would you exact to see?
