Vaillant Solar recall

Hi all. Just a quickie to let anyone out there who cares or is bothered, that Vaillant has withdrawn all of its aurotherm exclusive evacuated tubes from sale due to a small number failing in Germany.

They have dumped the supplier/manufacturer of the tubes, Schott and are in the process of finding a replacement supplier.

All those fitted and in existence must be reported to Vaillant and inspected by them.

This does not affect their flat plate panel.

Would'nt Vaillant know where they are installed, through warranty Iam thinking

They should do but we all know what manufacturers databases are like
