Vaillant Turbomax vuw GB 242 Hot Water Problem

I have a Vaillant Turbomax vuw GB 242 and it's been fine until yesterday, when the hot water stopped working.

If I turn on the central heating, then the hot water works just fine, but if the central heating is switched off then the boiler does not fire when the hot tap is switched on.

The on light is lit on the control panel, but that's about it. I've tried re-setting the boiler, but to no avail.

Does anyone have any idea what could be wrong?

get yourself a service kit for the diverter valve

change the diaphragm, lever and microswith assembly

Thanks for that, is it quite an easy thing to do?

I've been looking at boiler part websites, but can't seem to find the arm as a separate item anywhere, does it come with the microswitch?
