Vaillant turbomax vuw242e hot water but no heating

Hi all,

today the boiler seems to have developed a fault. The hot water is perfectly fine but the heating will either come and switch off shortly afterwards or not come on at all.
Could this be the diaphram or is it more serious(diverter/servo) or anything else

If the hot water is fine then the diverter is likely to be OK.

Its not obvious to me what your problem is without the opportunity to carry out tests on your boiler.

servo not on a turbomax could be the microswich on the diverter tho

Kevplumb. is'nt the microswitch used for the dhw. I can see the lever lower the microswitch when the hot water comes on but this appears unrelated to the ch

NO

If it works on DHW then the main boiler combustion chain is operating and the lack of CH is a minor issue associated with switching, control or diversion.
