Ive read lots of great posts and answers but cant find one that matches my fault.
I have a VCW 242E/282E. It has been playing up for a while but is now getting worse. 2 problems seen
Problem 1 - The Boiler sometimes just refuses to start up. It goes through its 10 sec check then just as a flame comes it trips and locks out. Apears to be on HW or CH. This then happens for about 10 attempts and then miraculously starts and runs fine. But fails on startup some time later.
Problem 2 - The Hotwater needs to be almost flat out before the servo will come over and hit the rocker arm. The temperature of the water is also somewhat intermittent with the red marked temp adjuster doing very little.
PS The Diverter valve apears to touch all the switches in the various demand positions.
Any help would be gratefully recieved
