virgin hd freeview to pvr

Can anyone confirm if its possible to take an output from my virgin freeview hd box (new last 2 weeks) and put through my ~2 year old Thomson PVR box in order that I record?

The Thomson PVR is a Top Up TV 160GB version and appears to only have a RF input. There are 2 scarts, but I'm unclear whether the Virgin box will output a scart that the PVR will accept as input. As the Thomson box is a freeview HD recorder, I presume it only takes RF but if anyone could confirm it would be great.

IF your Thomson box is basically a freeview box with a built-in harddisc recorder then the answer is no, it won't record from your Virgin box. These devices only record from the inbuilt Freeview signal. I suspec this is the case for you.

If the Thomson is a DVD & Harddisc recorder with a built in freeview tuner then yes, it should work.
