Hello,

I'm hoping someone could help. I'm looking to fit a Vitocom 100 (type LAN 1) unit so heating/hot water can be controlled remotely through the Viessmann app. My current setup is as follows:

- Viessmann Vitodens 200 WB2C boiler
- Vitotronic 200 HO1A control unit (standalone unit fitted in the room next to the boiler)

This boiler/control unit combination looks to be compatible with the Vitocom 100 unit as per Viessmann's compatibility instructions (https://viessmanndirect.co.uk/Catalogue/Controls/Vitocom/Vitocom-100-LAN-1-with-LON-module-Z011224) but i can't find any instructions as to how the communication module should be fitted to the boiler PCB. In addition, looking at the boiler's PCB unit (https://viessmanndirect.co.uk/Boilers/7424988/Control) there already appears to be a communications module (LON HO1) fitted to the PCB? I'm struggling to understand how to connect the Vitocom unit to the boiler/control unit.

Any assistance/guidance would be much appreciated!

Cheers,

DD

Hi Duane,

I’m not familiar with this boiler, but looking in the instructions it would appear that the cover being removed is accessing part of the combustion circuit, which unless you hold the relevant competency, is not permitted. However it will be compatible if I’ve read it correctly, it is possible to have this controller.
