We have recently installed this boiler. Our HWS is separate off-peak electric and we did not use Vitodens boiler for HWS.
The boiler runs with no problems on single room thermostat Sealus model 091FLRF which was being used with the previous boiler.
We are looking to use ViCare app and ViCare climate sensor to get these benefits:
1. Remote temperature adjustment.
2. Additional boiler observations
3. Diagnostics and remote service
In forums there are a lot of stories of problems with ViCare, mostly poor software and complication.
We are also concerned with what happens when there is power failure of wifi service failure, both of which are regular occurrences in our mountain location.
We know the Sealus thermostat has no problems with power or wifi failure but will ViCare be stable and restore after these occurrences?
Would you advise forgetting about ViCare climate sensor as the benefits are not worth the risks of problems?
