Vokera Linea 24 Problem

Morning all,

My sister returned from holiday yesterday to find her boiler wasn't working. The code displayed is 01 so we tried to reset it and it still wouldn't fire up. You can hear the ignitor cracking but it just wont light.

She turned the boiler off before she went away as one of her hot taps is leaking. Could this be anything to do with it?

Advice would be greatly appreciated as she has two young kids and needs hot water.

Recent thread on this already covered... sounds like an Ignitor PCB or the gas valve - assuming the electrodes are owrking of course.

Anyone got a link to the other thread?
I can definately hear the ignitor cracking so I sort of ruled that one out. How can I check the PCB/Gas Valve?
Would the fact that it has been turned off for two weeks have caused the fault?
